Microsoft releases Hyper-V Server R2

Microsoft on the eve of the VMWorld Conference have released the latest edition of their Virtualization Hypervisor – Hyper-V Server 2008 R2.
Features
Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 introduces features such as
Failover Clustering
Automatic Failover of Virtual Machines from a failed node to different physical nodes.
Live Migration
Allows the movement of Virtual Machines in real time to another node without any service interruption.
Core Parking
Cores are ‘Parked’ when not in use increasing energy efficiency.
